Every Friday evening, the BYFY Leadership Group meets at Mar Vista Family Center to participate in workshops led by their peers, dealing with issues that they face in everyday life. Issues include youth advocacy, teamwork, trust, goal setting, relationships, and leadership. This time is also used to plan and develop activities that they will provide for the community such as the Halloween Haunted House, Christmas Party and Valentine's Dance. |
