Seppy's
Summer Day Camp
In 1996, in memory
of a close family member, the Seppler family (hence the name Seppy's)
adopted Mar Vista Family Center as a place to establish a sports/summer
day camp program. Each summer 100 children ages 6-12 enroll in a 6 week
day camp that includes sports, arts and crafts and performing arts. In
the past, children have enjoyed trips to amusement parks, movie theatres,
science museums and the beach. 20 youth from the By Youth For Youth program
are selected to work in the camp as counselors and coordinators where
they will develop job skills as well as demonstrate their leadership skills.
